AHA and AHAA Have Unique Relationship

Arkansas Hospital Auxiliary Association (AHAA) and Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA) have had a long successful partnership working together and advocating for hospitals and healthcare in Arkansas since 1955, over 60 years.

AHAA bimonthly meetings are held in AHA’s building in Little Rock and our Annual meeting and convention is held concurrently with the annual meeting and convention of AHA.

AHAA is proud of the fact that Arkansas was the second state to grant a permanent seat on the AHA Board of Directors to the state hospital auxiliary president.

At every AHAA board meeting a senior member of AHA’s Executive Team attends and brings a state and federal legislative update.

AHAA’s president, president elect and state legislative chair accompany Arkansas hospital administrators, trustees, physicians and AHA staff to Washington, D.C. and take part in visits with each member of the Arkansas Congressional Delegation each year.

That’s what it’s all about, Caring and Sharing! And it is working well in Arkansas.
